With three decades at the forefront of transformative developments, Anne is a powerhouse in urban planning and regeneration. Her expertise in design quality and placemaking has shaped some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Before co-founding BtRL she held senior leadership roles at the London Legacy Development Corporation and Olympic Delivery Authority, driving groundbreaking projects like the 2012 Olympic Village including delivering the award-winning London Aquatics Centre, Velodrome, Northern Parklands, and the vibrant new communities of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Anne’s mastery of planning legislation and her knack for innovative, forward-thinking solutions make her a dynamic force in reshaping London’s urban fabric. Her focus on using sports and public spaces as catalysts for regeneration, ensures every project she touches leaves a legacy of thriving communities and vibrant design.
As an Independent Member of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation Planning Committee and a Quality Review Panel member for Barnet Council, Anne combines strategic vision with on-the-ground expertise to unravel complex projects and champion design excellence.

Marina brings over a decade of experience in strategic urban planning and placemaking. Her expertise lies in developing innovative urban strategies and policies that address critical issues, including affordable housing, sustainability, economic growth, and social justice, with a particular focus on gender equality.
Her prior experience includes working for the Mayor of London's development organisations, contributing to the regeneration of two major development areas, including the 2012 London Olympic Games. She was responsible for delivering social value by shaping and implementing urban strategies and development frameworks aimed at creating sustainable, high-quality, and equitable places. Marina also has extensive project management experience, having led high-profile projects, including a programme funded by the European Investment Bank.
Her work is rooted in a holistic approach to planning, emphasising people-centred, participatory processes. She is well-versed in engaging stakeholders across all levels, from local communities to senior leaders.
Marina is a leading expert in gender equality in planning in the UK, having pioneered groundbreaking research in this area. Her contributions to the field were recognised with the Women of Influence 2024 award from the Royal Town Planning Institute.
